Homemade pizza with organic ready-made cherry tomato sauce

  • 1 kg “00” flour
  • to taste salt
  • 500 ml water at temp. environment
  • 5 g. of brewer’s yeast
  • Extra virgin olive oil


For the initial preparation of the dough we recommend manual processing; you can, however, also opt for the use of a mixer by following the dedicated instructions.

Take a pinch of salt and place it in a bowl. Dissolve it with water and then add the yeast. Gently dissolve the yeast until it almost disappears. At this point, add the flour. While you are kneading, add a drizzle of oil: this will help you make the dough homogeneous, so as to have a whole loaf without lumps.

Let it rise for 24 hours and after the indicated time, start taking balls from it. Let the loaves rise for about half an hour and then spread them out on the trays. At this point, let the dough rise in the pans for another half hour and then proceed with the dressing.

The ready-made CONVIVIA cherry tomato sauce is ideal for making the tomato layer of the pizza on which to then put all the other toppings.

Once the pizzas are seasoned, just bake them at 220° for about 20/25 minutes and you’re done!

The cooking of the pizza must take place at high temperatures, therefore we advise you to determine the cooking temperature also on the basis of your oven.
